Brittany Ferries – New Hybrid Ships
Leading the way: Cleaner Crossings to France
Spring 2025 will see the arrival of two new hybrid-LNG ships into the fleet. It will form part of the final and most ambitious fleet renewal programme in our history.
Saint-Malo will operate the Portsmouth to St Malo route from February, and Guillaume de Normandie is scheduled to commence sailing between Portsmouth to Caen in April.
The new additions will be the first cross-channel ferries to be hybrid-LNG – powered by both fuel and electricity – taking Brittany Ferries closer to a cleaner future.
From dining, entertainment, cabin choices and décor, both ships have been specifically designed and built for the routes they will serve.
